[US] 77905 Taskmaster's Ambush now available at LEGO.com
Posted by MeganL,
For those of us in the U.S. who are still awake, 77905 Taskmaster's Ambush has just become available on LEGO.com. I'd recommend you act quickly, as it's not likely to last long. There's a limit of three sets per person.
Place your order now while stocks last!

Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Manage to snag it :)
HECK YES. I was so sad I missed Amazon's window on my birthday. Glad that staying up for the election netted me this extra benefit

Thank you. Just ordered mine.
Thank you!!! Just ordered one to be sent at one of my friends in the USA so he can give it to me later :-)

Unfortunately no, need a US address to ship to.
Sets already purchased!
Even now it is still available.
Plus, "Limit: 3"
They don't seem to be so short on them after all.
Or they love the scalpers even more than I thought. I mean, seriously, why no limit of one per person/household, if it is that exclusive? If they have so many that they can offer a limit of three then they should have no problem offering this worldwide too.

I agree, they should put a limit of 1... I could have ordered 3 but I am not a speculator.
Oh, I ordered 3 and I'm not ashamed to say it. I will resell them without a doubt. After all, it's my business. We are not all "speculators" as you understand the term, or in a derogatory sense. There are people, like myself, who work day and night to buy limited edition sets to resell to survive. Enough of all these unnecessary controversies! Don't want to give retailers a living? Don't do it, nobody forces you. But at least don't whimper all the time!

If you reside in Italy, how could you order at all? Tried to buy one, but check out failed due to my address being outside the US.
As a collector, I wish I could get those figures for a reasonable price! And in this case, I also love the boxart.

If one is ingenious and does not sleep at night, he can do everything!

That may be right but doesn't help here (Why does it say that I am in the US?).
Edit: Oh, it gives the correct location now!
Any way to order this from Europe?
I hope nobody pays the $124 on Amazon US right now. Yikes.
And a free teen Groot keychain. Neat.
It sucks so much when LEGO do this...... I totally understand that loads of these sets are snapped up to sell at vastly over inflated prices by resellers, that's enterprise on the part of the owner. I just think LEGO could handle these better - once the convention was cancelled they could for instance have sold the sets for a premium from the main LEGO sites with an allocation for each area, and given the excess to an erstwhile charity they support ?? Perhaps then it wouldn't leave a sour taste spending 50 to 60£ on a set that's worth 20£ at most and buyers would feel more positive that they are supporting a good cause. I am a modest collector with my son owning apparently 14K worth of lego - I bought it to enjoy and collect, not to look at an investment so perhaps I am biased in saying everyone should be treated equally and enjoy the chance to procure these, and not to be ripped off for a better term
I grabbed 3. 1 for myself and then I'll sell 2 to people overseas for basically cost plus shipping. No, I am not putting a huge markup on them. Just grab a couple so that people outside of the US can have a chance at them. I did this with the Final Duel set and I'll do it with the upcoming Nebulon B as well.
And it's out. Lego really has no respect for non US customers...
Thanks for the heads up. Grabbed only 1 this morning so others could try and also get a copy.
I ordered 3. Now I can add 3 more to my bag and proceed to checkout, interesting...
I managed to get 3.
Two for me, one for a friend. Don't tell him, it's a suprise.

No, you need an address in the USA...
It won’t help in this case but it look like the set was also available on shopdisney.com (now sold out) and they ship to Europe? https://www.shopdisney.com/lego-taskmasters-ambush-77905---marvel-black-widow-limited-edition-673419333818.html?isProductSearch=0&plpPosition=1
Maybe another place to check in case the Nebulon comes out.
I’ve got 3 sets all spoken for. Trying to get more. The 3 limit is good to stop scalpers, but It makes it hard for people like me just trying to help out non-US folks. Message me if you want one of these. I’ll put you on the waiting list. No guarantees.

I got a US Address for you.
Anyone that wants to purchase and ship them to my house I’ll mail them to you overseas. My contact form is open.

Unless you order via someone who lives in the US and ships it on to you there should be no legal way for you to order from Italy from LEGO.com in the US . Then again, scalpers seem to know all kinds of ways to go about their "business". Try to sweeten it as much as you like, I detest scalpers. If you ask exorbitant prices then you are no ordinary reseller trying to make a living, in that case you are a scalper and nothing else!

I don’t understand if there is some sort of question here, so I’ll say: Yes. The limit is good to stop scalpers
Another site selling them:
https://shop-california.legoland.com/products/lego®-marvel-avengers-taskmaster-s-ambush-77905?_pos=1&_sid=2c8d2ac3c&_ss=r
Maybe they will ship out of the US?

In what way? Everything above a limit of one (except for something like CMFs of course) is just good for scalpers when highly exclusive sets are concerned.

I don’t understand your comment either. I’m saying a limit is good and it seems you are also saying that.
I managed to get one of these off of Amazon. A large part of me is glad to see it pop up on Lego's shopping page, but another part of me is also a little annoyed as I opted to just pay 3x retail for 77904 just to make sure I got it with it looking like it wouldn't show up anywhere else.
While I understand the frustration over these exclusives, they're really not that much different from stuff like the Billund Airport set and the Lego House exclusive sets - they weren't originally intended to be sold online but to an exclusive group that was able to visit those locations, and earlier this year only Europe had access to 21037 Lego House through the online store.
If I was a little better off, I'd try to help some of our non-U.S. friends, so would like to express my apologies that I am not in a position to do that.

You paid 3 times retail where? Is it released?
And don’t sweat it.
Somehow still made it this time. Thank you so much!

What's there not to understand?
I said every limit above 1 only helps scalpers.
You seem to think a limit of 3 is enough. I disagree, as if you want 1, 1 is all you need. If you buy 3, you can sell on 2 at scalper rates, no one there to stop you. That's why I think every limit above 1 is helping scalpers.
I got one, thanks for the reminder article I really appreciate it.

It was from eBay, and there were rumors floating that 77904 appeared in some Lego Discovery Centers for sale. Based on where it shipped from, that's probably where the seller purchased it from. Had I been thinking more clearly when I ordered it, I would have tried to drive to the one an hour and a half or so away - but since it was an eBay purchase, the damage is already done.
My personal hope is that should it show up on Amazon and direct from Lego, that the limit is only 1 per customer.
For those who still want con exclusives, the Mario and Wonderwoman sets are still up for grabs the last time I checked.
Please, please, please get up on here quickly when the Nebulon Frigate goes live. You saved me today!! Thanks
the limit of one should prevent scalpers. 3 is just insane.
Die hard collector for Marvel and Dc sets... I ordered mine 30 minutes ago and was in stock. just got an email saying it was sold out. So thanks for that.

Jason did you see that it’s in stock on LEGOLAND website?
Anybody want to sell me one for $50?
Would anyone be interested in doing a straight trade for the LEGO House?
I would definitely pick up an extra set to do that trade.
Missed it on Amazon last week but I'm SO HAPPY I got it on LEGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It will be showing up on Amazon. Here is the link: https://www.amazon.com/stores/page/017EF856-965D-4B56-A171-EA61CAFF45DD?ingress=2&visitId=39621f48-69b7-407d-846c-c4cd0b1c89cc&ref_=ast_bln
I am hoping to get my hand on one too.
I just checked Lego.com. It’s already out of stock. To anyone that was able to get an extra, I’m willing to work a trade. I have an extra Bespin Duel. Just let me know. Thanks in advance.
I have an extra Bespin Duel or Taskmaster's Ambush. Would be interested to trade for Denmark exclusive - Lego House 21037 or The Wooden Duck 40501. If RRP is different, I don't mind paying the difference. Shipping responsibility of each party.
I was not able to be at a computer on Friday so I totally missed this - of course it goes up the one day I'm not able to watch shop.lego :(
